So I've had a few Greenfields in the shop, but this one just ticks all the boxes. This is a #1 of 5 Special Reserve model made for Guitar Gallery, and let's address the elephant in the room - that Brazilian! It's apparently about 200 years old and reclaimed from an old church, and Michael obtained it directly from the guy who found it in Brazil. Super cool stuff. And check out that back bracing - that "Tone Halo" is just rad. This guitar is incredibly punchy and articulate - "responsive" is a big-time understatement. It plays fantastic, with great tactile feedback. Comes with Calton case.
Brazilian rosewood back/sides (200-year-old reclaimed from Brazil) Lutz spruce top 15.375" G1 body (slightly larger than OM) Ebony fretboard / binding Laskin style top arm bevel Radially braced back with Tone Halo Hot hide glue construction, dovetail neck Spalted maple rosette with paua Carbon graphite reinforced neck Brazilian headplate w/ MOP logo Gotoh 510 tuners Ebony pinless bridge 1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" spacing, 25 1/4" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition. There are some minor string ball marks next to the bridge, but otherwise just minor signs of handling.
